Gem Village is a 150-bed retirement community for military veterans on Farm Doornkloof in Irene, Centurion. Founded 1984 by the Gunners and Sappers Associations, offering 36 single rooms, 43 double rooms, and 37 cottages adjacent to the General Smuts Museum.
