Lynnmed, also called Lynnmed Clinic, is a sub-acute (step-down) facility in Lynnwood, Pretoria, run by La Vie Care. According to the home's FAQ sheet on the La Vie website, patients have 24/7 nursing care by trained nurses and caregivers, and a general practitioner does ward rounds once a day. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists assist with rehabilitation as motivated by the referring physician, and a wound care sister is available if needed. Patients get three meals a day with a small snack in the evening.
