Faircape Life Bridgewater Manor is a life-rights retirement village tucked into the heart of the Helderberg in Somerset West, one of six Faircape Life villages. Taken over by Faircape in 2012 and extensively refurbished, it offers 140 one- and two-bedroom homes.
Homes are sold on a Life Rights basis (from R1.7 million for a one-bedroom), a model the village says provides secure occupation, predictable long-term living costs and professional maintenance. Day-to-day support comes from a resident clinic at set times daily and access to CMR, an occupational therapist and a social worker for assessment and temporary assistance, with direct access to Faircape Health for frail care, therapy and wellness services.
