Its stated concept is that care comes to the resident: in its own words, all nursing services and care are home based and happen in the comfort of the unit, from basic care through to frail care. The owner of each unit pays a monthly levy relative to the unit, plus a service levy. The site describes basic nursing care, cleaning, laundry, 24-hour security and 15 lunches a month per resident as covered, but it uses 'service levy' in one place and 'monthly levy' in another for the same items, so which of the two carries them is worth confirming with the home. Basic care is described as blood-pressure measurement, medication control, basic wound care, bed-making, showering and help with basic needs, delivered from a 24/7 nursing station with a nurse call system; a registered sister is on site on weekdays and on call around the clock, and a doctor consults residents in their units every Wednesday.
