Independent-living residents rent one of 54 private units - 36 cottages, 8 smaller units and 10 bedsitters - on a flexible month-to-month basis. The assisted-living wing offers 26 en-suite rooms in the main building for residents who need some daily help but not full nursing care. The frail-care unit has 33 beds in comfortable one- and two-bed rooms and is staffed around the clock by professional registered nurses and trained caregivers. Daily meals, cleaning and laundry are included, and residents have on-site clinic access and scheduled transport. A regular activities programme runs through the week - music and movement, exercise and yoga, arts and crafts, knitting, bingo and games, puzzles, performances, celebrations and community outreach - alongside a library, gardens and a hairdresser on site. The reception office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00.
