Brooklyn Care is a frail care centre and assisted living facility in the Groenkloof/Brooklyn area of Pretoria, next to Blue Crane Bird Park. It offers 24-hour care under the supervision of a qualified Nursing Sister and her team of carers, in single and double rooms. According to the home's website, residents get three meals a day, snacks, room cleaning and laundry, and chronic medication is blister packed and given by qualified nurses at prescribed times. A resident GP and physiotherapists visit residents in their rooms, and an occupational therapist and biokineticist team are involved in group sessions twice a week. Fun and games take place every Tuesday and Wednesday. The home provides a safe environment for people living with dementia, and it has independent living apartments. Residents share a communal living room and dining room, and the home has gardens.
